Quercetin in the Body
Quercetin is a powerful antioxidant. It is also believed to be a natural anti-histamine, and anti-inflammatory. Quercetin has been promoted as being effective against a wide variety of diseases. One of quercetin’s most promising potential benefits is as an anti cancer agent. Research suggests that quercetin may help to prevent certain forms of cancer, especially prostate cancer. While some early lab results are still being evaluated, as of yet there is no reliable clinical evidence that quercetin can prevent cancer or treat cancer in humans.

Many health conscious individuals and members of the athletic community have begun to use quercetin as a part of their dietary and training regimenes. Currently assumed benefits associated with quercetin are diverse and bountiful.
